Although she is admired as "The First Lady" of her successful family record label and legendary music group, she is mostly known for a variety of platinum and gold hit songs and her true heart and pride comes from making the decision to re-invent her brand, become a more positive role model to her family and as a leader.
Tee Stevens has a powerful story and has endured the struggle, challenges, adversity and abuse that came with sacrificing her successful music career in order to become a better role model and obtain more wisdom, knowledge and time that she would never get back with her children. She was determined to return back to school to complete an AA in Business, then earning a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Organizational Development and a Masters in Supply Chain Management.
Ms. Stevens has experienced gun and domestic violence and she understands the foundations and transitions in life that can make us vulnerable to intergenerational dysfunction and environmental issues. Suga-T Stevens was a teen mom, and is currently a grandmother of six which makes her able to appeal and relate to a well-rounded audience. She has written a variety of books and lives by the rule, “Our life is a business,” and is currently working to make sure she does her part in sharing knowledge and love along her journey. She strongly believes that knowledge, wisdom and love gives ourselves and others power. She also believes that without it, we will all stay stagnated and/or fall through the cracks if this truth is never acknowledged and/or implemented in our lives. Tee Steven’s personal and professional experiences have made her totally aware of barriers, various cultures and solutions for those The WORK It Well Project currently serves. She understands how important it is to identify a healthy support team around us, especially during challenging time in our lives.
