Our Story
It Started With Her Story...
Our founder Dr. Suga-T Stevens was a victim of violence, had low self-esteem, was a teen mom and shortly after her children became adults, she was made a young grandmother. In the midst of healing her trauma, low self-esteem, risky behavior, and healthy career choices, she developed into one of the most influential innovators in entertainment, business, and community around the world. She learned to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly, along with the trials, triumphs, sacrifices, and victories that she faced along the way. Her conclusion was to embrace the concept of working with what you got until you get to what you need, but no matter what, just do not stop and work it well. Ms. Stevens has a passion for broken souls, creative opportunities, education, and entrepreneurship. For over 25 years, she has served others that walked her same path and provided a boost to individuals, organizations, communities and businesses. She uses her brand and experience to change lives, educate, innovate, and transform, and brought her hands on experience under one umbrella to THE WORK IT WELL PROJECT.
