Supporting Mothers Of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) On The Autism Spectrum
During COVID19 Pandemic we identified that there is a stronger need for wellness coaching, crisis prevention and wareness of resources, along with a great amount of extra care and SUPPORT for mothers and their children to maintain or obtain safe, inspired, and healthy lives. AUMAZING Parents provide support, inspiration, and supplemental tools that can assist families and especially mothers to improve their quality of life and keep them well. We provide peer support introducing them to supportive services, resources, wellness intervention, housing, food, transportation, respite options, COVID19 emergency support and clothing. The program also provides opportunities of innovative services, entrepreneurship exploration, education, skills building and/or career opportunities to help them overcome barriers in their lives, while keeping them and their children healthy, safe, and economically empowered. Recently, our families of the AUMAZING Parents Program have been heavily impacted heavily by the pandemic, and with more funding we can do more to help them. During the pandemic, their children are over-eating, experiencing anxiety, depression and crisis behavior and left with few outlets to release their stress, and as a result are creating more havoc in the home. The AUMAZING Parents Program is designed to assist the entire family by offering innovative services, assigned wellness and resource coaches, along with emergency funds to help balance their loss. |

“Through the Aumazing Parents, a program designed for families with children on the spectrum, we support them through our wrap around services. One year we raised enough money to purchase a special technology for a young child with autism that support his cognitive development.”
